The 20th Indonesian Film Festival Short Film Competition 2026
The 20th IFF short film competition is an event opened to anyone who is interested in creating a compelling short film related to our theme this year, PERIPETEIA. We encourage you all to express your creativity and submit your best creations, as the winners will receive a grand prize!
PERIPETEIA captures the sudden turning point that alters the course of everything once known. It represents the moment when certainty fractures, and a new understanding begins to rise. What once seemed fixed is thrown into motion, revealing hidden truths and unseen possibilities.
This transformation challenges perception, urging one to see beyond the familiar and embrace the awakening that follows change. PERIPETEIA reminds us that every shift carries the power to redefine who we are and how we see the world. How will you portray the awakening of change when everything begins to transform?
